An unexpectedly hard shot by Breadan Costello in the 12th minute of play forced Corrawaleen's goalkeeper Brasil Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phelim Morrison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brigid Robinson in the 14th minute. Phelim Morrison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Sheridan in the 22nd minute of play. Kevin Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Phelim Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Fiachra MaCollin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Brady McJohnny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phelim Morrison skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Breadan Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glenbonniv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breadan Costello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Derrick Molloy's late challenge caught a Glenbonniv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derrick Molloy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corrawaleen's Derrick Molloy got a free kick in the 49th minute.

Kevin Sheridan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Corrawaleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevion Myler to maneuver through the defense. Phelim Morrison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Robinson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The attack was good, but when Bard McFrank in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lee McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A beautiful save bye Glenbonniv's goalie prevented a goal. Barran Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil Robinson having to interfere. A collision led to Glenbonniv getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Barran Martyn hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
