In the 4th minute Glen Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brasil Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 minutes, Berrach MaCollin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clonbulloge and the Corrawaleen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Clonbulloge got a freekick which was hit by Berrach MaCollin. Kevin Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bren Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Brasil Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brasil Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bren Johnson in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Corrawaleen's goalkeeper Brasil Robinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bren Johnson. 26 minutes into the game, Glen Costello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brasil Robinson. Glen Costello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Corrawaleen's goalkeeper Brasil Robinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bren Johnson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bren Johnson got free with Brasil Robinson in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glen Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil Robinson having to interfere. Bren Johnsons short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Brasil Robinson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 39 minutes of play, Clonbulloge's Bren Johnson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brasil Robinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Corrawaleen from getting a goal against them. Brasil Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Sheridan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corrawaleen's Brasil Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Costello in the 53rd minute of play. Brasil Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Costello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, Clonbulloge's Glen Costello made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brasil Robinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Corrawaleen getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bard McFrank hit a great ball. When Ravan McOliver fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clonbulloge's protests and gave Ravan McOliver a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Corrawaleen. Kevion Myler stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Brenainn McStephen. 3-1. Bard McFrank hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Brasil Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bren Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glen Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil Robinson having to interfere. A collision led to Corrawaleen getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bard McFrank hit a great ball. If Glen Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Clonbulloge's Glen Costello in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corrawaleen's goalie prevented a goal. Abbot McBrandon charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abbot McBrandon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Clonbulloge's Abbot McBrandon got a free kick in the 96th minute.
