Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Milestown AFC's Beolagh Caffey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beolagh Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Corrawaleen's Kevion Myler got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Gordon McTom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milestown AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Todd Deans during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brasil Robinson was a little too slow when Beolagh Caffey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Brigid Robinson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryan Costello. Ryan Costello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Milestown AFC's zone, Brigid Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Costello came out of the goal and Brigid Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordon McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Corrawaleen's Kevin Sheridan in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Milestown AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gordon McTom in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brasil Robinson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Sheridan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ryan Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brigid Robinson in the 52nd minute of play. 2-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Brigid Robinson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ryan Costello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brigid Robinson in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Milestown AFC's goalkeeper Ryan Costello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brigid Robinson. Corrawaleen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevion Myler in the 62nd minute. Corrawaleen's Kevion Myler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ryan Costello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brigid Robinsons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Ryan Costello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bressal Dimson's late challenge caught a Corrawaleen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bressal Dimson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Bressal Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Sheridan in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryan Costello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Beolagh Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beolagh Caffey in the 78th minute of play forced Corrawaleen's goalkeeper Brasil Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Corrawaleen's goal looked a bit too open when Beolagh Caffey came free, but Brasil Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quinton Myler hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 83rd minute, when Corrawaleen's Kevion Myler after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ryan Costello in Milestown AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch.
