Breadan Costello scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brenainn McStephen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clonbulloge's Brenainn McStephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breadan Costello in the 36th minute of play. Banon Gollogley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phelim Morrison. Glenbonniv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bren Johnson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Phelim Morrison firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute, Lee McStephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glenbonniv's goalkeeper Phelim Morrison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, Clonbulloge's Bren Johnson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phelim Morrison was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glenbonniv's Phelim Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Costello in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Glenbonniv got a freekick which was hit by Fiachra MaCollin. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bren Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clonbulloge's supporters rose to their feet, but Bren Johnson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phelim Morrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Breadan Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lee McStephen was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lee McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Glen Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phelim Morrison having to interfere. In the 85th minute Bren Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phelim Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clonbulloge's Brenainn McStephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barran Martyn in the 87th minute of play. Bren Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phelim Morrison having to interfere. The Glenbonniv players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Clonbulloge from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
