The supporters of Irishford booed when Reagrove Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lochlainn Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Torrey McFrank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reagrove Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irishford the free kick. In the 9th minute, Torrey McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lochlainn Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Reagrove Utd getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Quinton Crowe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reagrove Utd's zone, Brefni Sheridan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paud Ferguson came out of the goal and Brefni Sheridan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lochlainn Johnson charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lochlainn Johnson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lochlainn Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Reagrove Utd's Paud Ferguson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Reagrove Utd from getting a goal against them. Buach Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philib McFrancise made a kick off. If Philib McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philib McFrancise in the 55th minute of play forced Irishford's goalkeeper Conan McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reagrove Utd's zone, Buach Dunne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paud Ferguson came out of the goal and Buach Dunne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reagrove Utd's Paud Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buach Dunne in the 70th minute of play. Lochlainn Johnson got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Brecc McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buach Dunne struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Paud Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irishford. Irishford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
