Braon McStephen s short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Gearoid Scully to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Braon McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearoid Scully having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Walsheslough FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corcreaghy Utd:s goal. When Walsheslough FC's Breslin Scully in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corcreaghy Utd's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th match minute, Corcreaghy Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bree O'Brien to maneuver through the defense. Bram Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breslin Scully to strike the kick off in the second half. Ardán Harkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gearoid Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Brendon McNamara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bram Robinson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lewy Willson. After 78 played minutes Corcreaghy Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bree O'Brien. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breslin Scully in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bram Robinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Braon McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendon McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Robinson having to interfere. Bram Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breslin Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Braon McStephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearoid Scully. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braon McStephen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 97 played minutes Walsheslough FC got a freekick which was hit by Donal McAlphie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Walsheslough FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
