When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fionntán Moran sped through Drumbrollisk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bairee McAaron. When Teddy McLian came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Drumbrollisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy McLian couldn't finish the play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Fionntán Moran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumbrollisk's Bairee McAaron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ballynasrah FC's goalkeeper Aubrey McTom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teddy McLian. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbrollisk's zone, Fionntán Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairee McAaron came out of the goal and Fionntán Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ballynasrah FC booed when Drumbrollisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarlath Frankson in the 30th minute of play forced Drumbrollisk's goalkeeper Bairee McAaron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fionntán Moran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairee McAaron having to make a save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jarlath Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumbrollisk's Bairee McAaron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarlath Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Ballynasrah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Aubrey McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarlath Frankson scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bairee McAaron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Teddy McLian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aubrey McTom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarlath Frankson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairee McAaron having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Beglan Cooney made the kick off in the second half. Bairee McAaron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarlath Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballynasrah FC's Fionntán Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fionntán Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fionntán Moran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bairee McAaron made a huge save. Bairee McAaron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarlath Frankson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Bairee McAaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarlath Frankson in the 80th minute of the match. Teddy McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Begg McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Beglan Cooney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballynasrah FC's Aubrey McTom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 played minutes Ballynasrah FC got a freekick which was hit by Baine McDonald. Aubrey McTom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beglan Cooney's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Drumbrollisk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fionntán Moran fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
