Coran Doherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Críostóir Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Kilmacteige Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harrington McBrandon in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Harrington McBrandon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rockfield's Coran Doherty did a great save. If Doney Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bret Mulvihill in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Coran Doherty, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Coran Doherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Críostóir Silke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Bret Mulvihill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilmacteige Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockfield the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kilmacteige Utd's Bret Mulvihill got a free kick in the 17th minute. Brendanus Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rockfield getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Philip Gollogley hit a great ball. Coran Doherty acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Harrington McBrandon. Bret Mulvihill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coran Doherty having to make a save. Críostóir Silke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Coran Doherty skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Coran Doherty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bret Mulvihill in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Críostóir Silke in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coran Doherty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bret Mulvihill who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Coran Doherty when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Bret Mulvihill could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Coran Doherty however easily saved by the left post. Bret Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coran Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Críostóir Silke in the 40th minute of play. Coran Doherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Críostóir Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Críostóir Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Críostóir Silke came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Kilmacteige Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Críostóir Silke couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Críostóir Silke made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Bret Mulvihill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Coran Doherty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bret Mulvihill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Coran Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Gollogley hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kilmacteige Utd's Bret Mulvihill got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coran Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Mulvihill in the 68th minute of play. Bret Mulvihill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Coran Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rockfield getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ross McGlynn hit a great ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Bret Mulvihill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rockfield's Coran Doherty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philip Gollogley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Shamus Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Críostóir Silke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kilmacteige Utd's Críostóir Silke in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rockfield's goalie prevented a goal. Coran Doherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bret Mulvihill in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Brendanus Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendanus Colwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shamus Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilmacteige Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
