Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarlath Frankson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bret Mulvihill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aubrey McTom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Críostóir Silke in the 10th minute of the match. Bera Dempsey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aubrey McTom. Ballynasrah FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Shamus Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarlath Frankson's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kilmacteige Utd! 27 minutes into the game, Begg McJames cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Shamus Quinnless was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Críostóir Silke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aubrey McTom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fionntán Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballynasrah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fionntán Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shamus Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shamus Quinnless made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fionntán Moran sent off a good shot on target. Ballynasrah FC's Aubrey McTom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Críostóir Silke in the 40th minute of play. Gearard Hamilton hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Críostóir Silke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilmacteige Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aubrey McTom came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilmacteige Utd's Bret Mulvihill. But to his dismay, Bret Mulvihill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fionntán Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Shamus Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Gavin Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bret Mulvihill had several of the Ballynasrah FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Aubrey McTom as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 78th match minute, Kilmacteige Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaithmeic Savic to maneuver through the defense. Kilmacteige Utd's Shamus Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarlath Frankson in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kilmacteige Utd defense, Jarlath Frankson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shamus Quinnless. The Kilmacteige Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shamus Quinnless should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Harrington McBrandon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilmacteige Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballynasrah FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Harrington McBrandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradain Myler charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradain Myler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bradain Myler hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Jarlath Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kilmacteige Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
