Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gearroid Gough made the kick off and thus started the match. When Donlevy Horgan fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardloy's protests and gave Donlevy Horgan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Kilmacshane a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Breasal McJohn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ardloy's Boyce McDecland. 1-0. Kilmacshane's Cacey McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearroid Gough in the 13th minute of play. Tory McLiam took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyce McDecland. Boyce McDecland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th match minute, Kilmacshane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braden Dunne to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Tory McLiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyce McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Kyle Hamilton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boyce McDecland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Boyce McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory McLiam in the 26th minute of play. Beiti Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lawrence Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cacey McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Ardloy got a freekick which was hit by Gehan Taylor. When Kilmacshane's Tory McLiam in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ardloy's goalie prevented a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Baird Perth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardloy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilmacshane the free kick. A collision led to Ardloy getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Baird Perth hit a great ball. Gearroid Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacey McVictor having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tory McLiam made the kick off in the second half. Tory McLiam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyce McDecland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When Tory McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kilmacshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tory McLiam couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Tory McLiam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyce McDecland was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Boyce McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Hamilton in the 59th minute of play. After 64 minutes, Ravan Crowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardloy and the Kilmacshane players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Ardloy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ravan Crowe to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Tory McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilmacshane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory McLiam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyle Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Boyce McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardloy's Gearroid Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donall Duggan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Boyce McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory McLiam in the 81st minute of play forced Ardloy's goalkeeper Boyce McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyle Hamilton scored 4-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boyce McDecland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kilmacshane were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ardloy for a fine match.
