The crowd rose to their feet as Ardloy's Gearroid Gough slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bram Robinson. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. Braon McStephen struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Boyce McDecland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcreaghy Utd. Ardán Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce McDecland having to interfere. With his leg Bram Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Ardloy's Lawrence Rogers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
