Drumbrollisk's Bairee McAaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Rogers in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Ardloy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gearroid Gough hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Ardloy got a freekick which was hit by Gehan Taylor. Ardloy's Boyce McDecland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beglan Cooney in the 13th minute of play. Drumbrollisk's Bairee McAaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearroid Gough in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Drumbrollisk getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Brine Taylor hit a great ball. If Lawrence Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beglan Cooney in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyce McDecland saved Ardloy from getting behind. With his leg Boyce McDecland managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Drumbrollisk's Teddy McLian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teddy McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Beglan Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyce McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddy McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce McDecland having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lawrence Rogers to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teris McTommy during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joshua McFrancise didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Beglan Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beglan Cooney might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyce McDecland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beglan Cooney ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ardloy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy McLian in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyce McDecland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Ardloy got a freekick which was hit by Gehan Taylor. Boyce McDecland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sameer Molloy's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Boyce McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beglan Cooney in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ravan Crowe during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ardloy's Ravan Crowe got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Ardloy's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Boyce McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyce McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy McLian in the 90th minute of play. If Teddy McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Lawrence Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drumbrollisk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ardloy for a fine match.
