Kyle Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coran Doherty having to interfere. Kyle Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendanus Colwell in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacey McVictor saved Kilmacshane from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendanus Colwell in the 20th minute of play forced Kilmacshane's goalkeeper Cacey McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Rockfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Rockfield a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bardain McJon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kilmacshane's Cacey McVictor. 0-1. Kilmacshane's Cacey McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendanus Colwell in the 30th minute of play. Kyle Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacey McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendanus Colwell in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Kyle Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Rockfield's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Hamilton came free, but Coran Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tory McLiam scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Coran Doherty, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Rockfield booed when Kilmacshane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Kilmacshane were the better team. Kilmacshane's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
