In the 6th minute, Beglan Cooney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kilmacteige Utd's Críostóir Silke in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drumbrollisk's goalie prevented a goal. Críostóir Silke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairee McAaron having to make a save. A collision led to Drumbrollisk getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Joshua McFrancise hit a great ball. Shamus Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beglan Cooney in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumbrollisk's goalkeeper Bairee McAaron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bairee McAaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Críostóir Silke in the 24th minute of the match. Bairee McAaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Mulvihill in the 26th minute of play. Bairee McAaron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Críostóir Silke's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Teigue McNamara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bairee McAaron. Drumbrollisk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teddy McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Shamus Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Drumbrollisk getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sameer Molloy hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Kilmacteige Utd's Harrington McBrandon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bairee McAaron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kilmacteige Utd reached it. Bairee McAaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Críostóir Silke in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Críostóir Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacteige Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Críostóir Silke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairee McAaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bairee McAaron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bret Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beglan Cooney to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Kilmacteige Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Shamus Quinnless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beglan Cooney struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Shamus Quinnless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumbrollisk. Teddy McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shamus Quinnless having to interfere. The referee gave Drumbrollisk a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brenden Hunt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kilmacteige Utd's Shamus Quinnless. 1-0. When Críostóir Silke came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kilmacteige Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Críostóir Silke couldn't finish the play. Bret Mulvihill came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bairee McAaron could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beglan Cooney in the 88th minute of play forced Kilmacteige Utd's goalkeeper Shamus Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Bret Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacteige Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bret Mulvihill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairee McAaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bret Mulvihill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bairee McAaron made a huge save. Bairee McAaron came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilmacteige Utd's Bret Mulvihill. But to his dismay, Bret Mulvihill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
