Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Breandan Scully got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breandan Scully got free with Bodibeua Callaghan in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mayo's Binnech McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bodibeua Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breandan Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bodibeua Callaghan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breandan Scully in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Glen Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Cullan McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bodibeua Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brak Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breandan Scully struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bodibeua Callaghan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayo. Gearalt McAlphie hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Binnech McJon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Binnech McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breandan Scully got free with Bodibeua Callaghan in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Binnech McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen Hamilton hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pearse McJames hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Battiemount defense, Brak Morrison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bodibeua Callaghan. The Battiemount fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bodibeua Callaghan should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Binnech McJon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Battiemount's goal looked a bit too open when Breandan Scully came free, but Bodibeua Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Críostóir McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Battiemount's protests and gave Críostóir McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. Críostóir McNamara hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breandan Scully in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bodibeua Callaghan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Battiemount getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Críostóir McNamara hit a great ball. The throw-in from Gearalt McAlphie in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mayo's Binnech McJon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breandan Scully in the 89th minute of play forced Battiemount's goalkeeper Bodibeua Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Binnech McJon. 95 minutes in the game Rian McJohn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Breandan Scully. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mayo fully deserved thier win.
