Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fionn Willson made the kick off and thus started the match. When Summerton Utd's Fionn Willson in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballygarvan AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Bedilia Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna McDonald having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Fionn Willson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballygarvan AFC's Fachtna McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fachtna McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedilia Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Burke McFrank hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bedilia Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna McDonald having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Seán McIan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Summerton Utd and the Ballygarvan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Summerton Utd got a freekick which was hit by Seán McIan. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballygarvan AFC's Britt Harkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bearchan Dempsey. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. When Kyle Harkin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ballygarvan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Harkin couldn't finish the play. Fachtna McDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fionn Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Fionn Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fachtna McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Britt Harkin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Fionn Willson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fachtna McDonald. Fachtna McDonald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ballygarvan AFC's Britt Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Summerton Utd got a freekick which was hit by Sean McLian. In the 46th minute, Kyle Harkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bearchan Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Britt Harkin made a kick off. Ballygarvan AFC's Fachtna McDonald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ballygarvan AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Ballygarvan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boethis Dunne to maneuver through the defense. Bedilia Mulvihill struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Fachtna McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Summerton Utd. Kyle Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kyle Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Kyle Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bearchan Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Britt Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballygarvan AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Sean McLian scored to the left of an out of position Fachtna McDonald, making the score, 3-2. Bearchan Dempsey came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballygarvan AFC's Britt Harkin. But to his dismay, Britt Harkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Britt Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearchan Dempsey having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ballygarvan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Summerton Utd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
