Gilbeirt Jameson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh McPhilip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Killian Lester in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilbeirt Jameson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the game, Bartel Dempsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gilbeirt Jameson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boddibevve Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Coolcullen AFC's Taveon McAaron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coolcullen AFC reached it. After 22 played minutes Coolcullen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pearse Moran. 25 minutes into the match, Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Killian Lester. A collision led to Greethill getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bola Cooney hit a great ball. The long shot by Taveon McAaron in the 29th minute really tested Gilbeirt Jameson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gilbeirt Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartel Dempsey in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendann Ferguson in the 35th minute of play forced Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Greethill's Bola Cooney got a free kick in the 35th minute. Piers Dempsey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coolcullen AFC booed when Greethill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piers Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Brendann Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coolcullen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendann Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbeirt Jameson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gilbeirt Jameson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pearse McPhilip's late challenge caught a Coolcullen AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pearse McPhilip helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Coolcullen AFC booed when Greethill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pearse McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbeirt Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Killian Lester in the 82nd minute of play. Coolcullen AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
