Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Boyne Coyle kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bowen Kelly in the 4th minute of play forced Battiemount's goalkeeper Bodibeua Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bodibeua Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Harkin in the 7th minute of play. Burke McFrank took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bodibeua Callaghan. Bodibeua Callaghan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Burke McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bodibeua Callaghan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burke McFrank went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bodibeua Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burke McFrank in the 18th minute of play. It was beautiful to see Ballygarvan AFC's Darren McWillie in action when he in the 37th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boethis Dunne during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Ballygarvan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boethis Dunne to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Ballygarvan AFC's Bowen Kelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bodibeua Callaghan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Britt Harkin was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Kyle Harkin took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bodibeua Callaghan to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Battiemount defense, Kyle Harkin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bodibeua Callaghan. The Battiemount fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bodibeua Callaghan should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes, Britt Harkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballygarvan AFC and the Battiemount players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Ballygarvan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Britt Harkin. After a rather tough play, Battiemount's Lochlainn Gallagher got a free kick in the 66th minute. He was immediately shown a red card. Harkin Caffrey hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Darren McWillie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bodibeua Callaghan. Battiemount's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ballygarvan AFC's Kyle Harkin in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Battiemount's goalie prevented a goal.
