Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deelis's Becc Hamilton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Greethill's Briony Silke made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brendanus Ghee was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Becc Hamilton in the 9th minute of play forced Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Greethill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorke Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymun Dalton in the 18th minute of play forced Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Greethill's zone, Casey Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbeirt Jameson came out of the goal and Casey Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Greethill's Gilbeirt Jameson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Becc Hamilton in the 34th minute of play. Rorke Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Greethill booed when Deelis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymun Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Briony Silke in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brendanus Ghee , who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Briony Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Brendanus Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Gilbeirt Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Becc Hamilton in the 51st minute of play. Gilbeirt Jameson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casey Kirby in the 55th minute. Briony Silke struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Brendanus Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greethill. Bantry Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Greethill getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dugan Robinson hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Kirby. In the 71st match minute, Greethill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearse McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casey Kirby got free with Gilbeirt Jameson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Becc Hamilton took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gilbeirt Jameson to make any attempt to save it. Gilbeirt Jameson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Casey Kirby sent off a good shot on target. Casey Kirby's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilbeirt Jameson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Greethill's Pearse McPhilip got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Kirby.
