Breanainn McMichel might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Art Coyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breanainn McMichel ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the game, Kilcronagh's Bin McGlenn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Art Coyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Kilcronagh's Breanainn McMichel in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loumore's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Donlevy Deans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilcronagh and the Loumore players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Kilcronagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donlevy Deans to maneuver through the defense. If Bin McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Breanainn McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Coyle having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Kilcronagh's Bin McGlenn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Art Coyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loumore fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Bodibeua Prunty walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Conan Kelly hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Davie Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Loumore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davie Ramsey couldn't finish the play. Bin McGlenn struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Art Coyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcronagh. Bin McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Coyle having to interfere. If Breanainn McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davie Ramsey to strike the kick off in the second half. Art Coyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bin McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Art Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Art Coyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bin McGlenn in the 80th minute. Kilcronagh's Breanainn McMichel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kilcronagh's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
