Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Binean Costello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corraneary and the Cornageeha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, Cornageeha's Thom McDonald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braeden McFrancise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thom McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, one of Cornageeha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Shea Walker walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 14th minute, Declan Branson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daron McDonald charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daron McDonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Corraneary's goal looked a bit too open when Thom McDonald came free, but Braeden McFrancise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braeden McFrancise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eoin McLaughlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Thom McDonald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cornageeha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Bernard Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Séamus McDecland made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Baine McAaron sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Gaynor McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Séamus McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Cornageeha got a freekick which was hit by Eoin McLaughlin. Séamus McDecland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baine McAaron in the 34th minute. Thom McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cahir Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Baine McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Séamus McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thom McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Cornageeha's Séamus McDecland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baine McAaron in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Cornageeha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Corraneary's Braeden McFrancise got control of the ball when Roland Gollogley tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Gaynor McBjarton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Séamus McDecland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corraneary's Baine McAaron got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shea Walker's late challenge caught a Cornageeha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shea Walker helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the match, Roland Gollogley notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Corraneary's Braeden McFrancise. Braeden McFrancise was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Bernard Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corraneary's Binean Costello got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Binean Costello off the ground. In the 70th match minute, Corraneary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binean Costello to maneuver through the defense. If Thom McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Séamus McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaynor McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Bernard Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Cornageeha got a freekick which was hit by Declan Branson. Daron McDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Séamus McDecland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Séamus McDecland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaynor McBjarton went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The Corraneary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cornageeha's performance. The match ended with a win for Cornageeha.
