Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tyrone Gollogley started the match with the kick off. Tyrone Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tyrone Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ballycolla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyrone Gollogley couldn't finish the play. Tyrone Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPhilip having to interfere. Birr Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shiel Taylor having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Calfstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bailey Caffey to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Gollogley in the 21st minute of play forced Calfstown's goalkeeper Basil McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Calfstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binnech McJohn to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th play minute Branigan Deery came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Basil McPhilip. 2-0. Breannain Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Basil McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Gollogley in the 33rd minute of play. Calfstown's Basil McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Gollogley in the 40th minute of play. Branigan Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPhilip having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Branigan Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrone Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPhilip having to interfere. Calfstown's Basil McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Gollogley in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Calfstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breannain Byrne to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Ballycolla got a freekick which was hit by Pierson McTom. In the 71st minute, Lewy Deery sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ballycolla's Shiel Taylor didn't even have to move. Shiel Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherlock Kelly in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Carrigan Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Tyrone Gollogley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballycolla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calfstown the free kick. A collision led to Ballycolla getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tyrone Gollogley hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branigan Deery in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basil McPhilip saved Calfstown from getting behind. Basil McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branigan Deery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Tyrone Gollogley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calfstown's Basil McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Branigan Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballycolla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Branigan Deery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basil McPhilip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tyrone Gollogley's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Branigan Deery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basil McPhilip read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Calfstown booed when Ballycolla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Lewy Deery in the 95th minute really tested Shiel Taylor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There was no doubt that Ballycolla were the better team. Ballycolla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
