Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geoffrey McStephen kicked off to start the match. Shiel Taylor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawd MaCollin in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Tyrone Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Branigan Deery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Ballycolla got a freekick which was hit by Donegan Glen Crowe. A long shot from Gehan McBjarton in the 20th minute of play was well struck, but Shiel Taylor made a really good save at the right post. Pawd MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Shiel Taylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branigan Deery in the 35th minute of play forced Glanlarehan's goalkeeper Todd Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shiel Taylor made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Pawd MaCollin sent off a good shot on target. Shiel Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey McStephen in the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tyrone Gollogley put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Todd Kelly. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyrone Gollogley to make the kick off. Shiel Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawd MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Donahue McAaron hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Gehan McBjarton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shiel Taylor skillfully saved the ball. Shiel Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Tyrone Gollogley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Todd Kelly. Tyrone Gollogley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baydan Taylor during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballycolla booed when Glanlarehan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baydan Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Glanlarehan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhrighde McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Shiel Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey McStephen in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Glanlarehan's Gehan McBjarton got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Pawd MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pawd MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shiel Taylor having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ballycolla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
