Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dawayne Morrison got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Clontarf getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Braonain McSteve hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawayne Morrison in the 11th minute of play forced Bunnaton AFC's goalkeeper Ros Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branagain Palmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ros Gough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Sheridan McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Coyle having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Beagan Horgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnaton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clontarf the free kick. After 19 played minutes Bunnaton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beagan Horgan. Ros Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawayne Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Clontarf booed when Bunnaton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blayne Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Dawayne Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ros Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branagain Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ros Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawayne Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Clontarf's Dawayne Morrison in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bunnaton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sheridan McPhilip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunnaton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheridan McPhilip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Coyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Blayne Dalton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shane Coyle. Clontarf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blayne Dalton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Blayne Dalton hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sheridan McPhilip made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Bunnaton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Royan Dalton . After taking down the ball on Clontarf's corner Bryan Dillon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ros Gough quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Royan Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bunnaton AFC defense, Dawayne Morrison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ros Gough. The Bunnaton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ros Gough should have stopped the shot. Branagain Palmer took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ros Gough. Ros Gough dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branagain Palmer in the 73rd minute of play. If Branagain Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toren McPaul scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shane Coyle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ros Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branagain Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Dawayne Morrison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ros Gough. Bunnaton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dawayne Morrison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
