Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) Tyrone Gollogley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Ballycolla's goal looked a bit too open when Sheridan McPhilip came free, but Shiel Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ros Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branigan Deery in the 6th minute of the match. Tyrone Gollogley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Branigan Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrone Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Gough having to interfere. Donahue McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ballycolla's goalkeeper Shiel Taylor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toren McPaul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sheridan McPhilip in the 31st minute of play forced Ballycolla's goalkeeper Shiel Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riddoc Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Pierson McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donegan Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ros Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnaton AFC's zone, Donahue McAaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ros Gough came out of the goal and Donahue McAaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Branigan Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Gough having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sheridan McPhilip to make the kick off. When Robin Ferguson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballycolla's protests and gave Robin Ferguson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ballycolla's Robin Ferguson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toren McPaul in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shiel Taylor saved Ballycolla from getting behind. With a little luck, Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough got control of the ball when Branigan Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Tyrone Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballycolla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Branigan Deery got free with Ros Gough in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Sheridan McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shiel Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrone Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnaton AFC's zone, Branigan Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ros Gough came out of the goal and Branigan Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ros Gough made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Branigan Deery sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough got control of the ball when Branigan Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ros Gough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Branigan Deery in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Branigan Deery cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ros Gough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bunnaton AFC's Ros Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Gollogley in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Branigan Deery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballycolla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
