The audience was convinced that Baine McAaron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Todd Kelly was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Geoffrey McStephen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Baine McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Kelly having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Glanlarehan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Todd Kelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baine McAaron went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Braeden McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffrey McStephen in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Braeden McFrancise managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Glanlarehan's Geoffrey McStephen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Glanlarehan's Geoffrey McStephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Braeden McFrancise. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Gaynor McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corraneary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaynor McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Corraneary's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pawd MaCollin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Baine McAaron came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Corraneary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baine McAaron couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawd MaCollin got free with Braeden McFrancise in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bhrighde McCollion charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bhrighde McCollion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bhrighde McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Braeden McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey McStephen in the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baine McAaron to strike the kick off in the second half. Baine McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braeden McFrancise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawd MaCollin in the 66th minute of play forced Corraneary's goalkeeper Braeden McFrancise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shea Walker hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corraneary's zone, Pawd MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braeden McFrancise came out of the goal and Pawd MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braeden McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawd MaCollin in the 79th minute of the match. If Baine McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Binean Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corraneary's supporters rose to their feet, but Binean Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Todd Kelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corraneary's Braeden McFrancise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey McStephen in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Gaynor McBjarton rounded Glanlarehan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 95th minute, Baine McAaron made a precise shot to the right of Todd Kelly. Glanlarehan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Corraneary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
