Fergal McJon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breannain Byrne in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Clownings defense, Sherlock Kelly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergal McJon. The Clownings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergal McJon should have stopped the shot. Birr Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fergal McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Oliver Ramsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basil McPhilip was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Basil McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Ramsey went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gealan Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Basil McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Ramsey in the 17th minute of play forced Calfstown's goalkeeper Basil McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Gealan Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gealan Jameson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil McPhilip having to make a save. Basil McPhilip came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clownings's Oliver Ramsey. But to his dismay, Oliver Ramsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Basil McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Ramsey in the 37th minute of play. If Sherlock Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 39 played minutes Clownings got a freekick which was hit by Biviti Branson. After 43 minutes, Quinton Ghee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clownings and the Calfstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clownings's Quinton Ghee got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Basil McPhilip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gealan Jameson's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sherlock Kelly to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Clownings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calfstown:s goal. Fergal McJon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherlock Kelly in the 59th minute of play. Sherlock Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Bannan Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gealan Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basil McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petran Gough went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Basil McPhilip made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gealan Jameson sent off a good shot on target. Gealan Jameson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basil McPhilip firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gealan Jameson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Basil McPhilip when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Biviti Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, one of Calfstown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Clownings a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bairne McDecland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calfstown's Basil McPhilip. 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gealan Jameson got free with Basil McPhilip in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Biviti Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sherlock Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Birr Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clownings's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
