Braeden McFrancise was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braeden McFrancise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loughlin Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Braeden McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brennen Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loughlin Silke in the 26th minute of play forced Corraneary's goalkeeper Braeden McFrancise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Corraneary's Baine McAaron made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harry Todd was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Loughlin Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Corraneary getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Booak Bayes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Washington's Glenn Delaney tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Baine McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Todd having to interfere. Corraneary's Braeden McFrancise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brennen Hutton in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loughlin Silke to make the kick off. Daron McDonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Washington getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Brennen Hutton hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brazil Dempsey got free with Braeden McFrancise in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Todd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Brennen Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes of play, Corraneary's Daron McDonald made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harry Todd was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th match minute, Washington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loughlin Silke to maneuver through the defense. Gaynor McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Bernard Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corraneary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Daniel Gallagher made a precise shot to the right of Braeden McFrancise. Corraneary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Harry Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron McDonald in the 85th minute of the match. Brazil Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Daniel Gallagher made a precise shot to the right of Braeden McFrancise. Corraneary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Braeden McFrancise was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Daniel Gallagher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Gallagher really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Gaynor McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Corraneary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Washington's performance. The match ended with a win for Washington.
