Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oliver Ramsey got the match started through his kick off. Branigan Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergal McJon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petran Gough during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petran Gough hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clownings fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Blaithmeic McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergal McJon having to interfere. Shiel Taylor was a little too slow when Oliver Ramsey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 20 minutes, Blaithmeic McTommy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballycolla and the Clownings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballycolla's Blaithmeic McTommy got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Oliver Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clownings's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Ramsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shiel Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blamhac McNamee got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biviti Branson in the 28th minute of play forced Ballycolla's goalkeeper Shiel Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Donegan Glen Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballycolla's protests and gave Donegan Glen Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Ballycolla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donegan Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Bairne McDecland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shiel Taylor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballycolla's Pierson McTom got a free kick in the 34th minute. Bairne McDecland came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shiel Taylor could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gealan Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clownings's supporters rose to their feet, but Gealan Jameson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shiel Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gealan Jameson in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Shiel Taylor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute of the match, Gealan Jameson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Shiel Taylor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branigan Deery made a kick off. With his leg Fergal McJon managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Ballycolla's Branigan Deery fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Clownings's goalkeeper Fergal McJon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Branigan Deery. Ballycolla's Branigan Deery got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Gealan Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clownings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gealan Jameson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Branigan Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Branigan Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fergal McJon came out of the goal and Branigan Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Clownings's goalkeeper Fergal McJon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Branigan Deery. Gealan Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fergal McJon made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Branigan Deery sent off a good shot on target. Quinton Ghee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shiel Taylor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
