Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bellaghy McWilliam kicked off to start the match. If Bren Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Shass FC's Harley Lavine got control of the ball when Bren Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bragain Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shass FC's protests and gave Bragain Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. Bragain Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bellaghy McWilliam in the 36th minute of play forced Shass FC's goalkeeper Harley Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bren Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Bellaghy McWilliam fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Harley Lavine, passed just outside the right post. Bellaghy McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harley Lavine having to interfere. Bellaghy McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Harley Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bodibeua McJohnny got free with Harley Lavine in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beatty Holt to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bellaghy McWilliam in the 52nd minute of play forced Shass FC's goalkeeper Harley Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Dromahoe were awarded a corner. Lochlainn Doyle went to the cornerflag to take it. Brenda Doyle thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Harley Lavine, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 1-0. If Bren Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harley Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bren Murphy in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bren Murphy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harley Lavine was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Lochlainn Dillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shass FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dromahoe the free kick. Lochlainn Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Bren Murphy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harley Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Bellaghy McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shass FC's Harley Lavine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 78 played minutes Dromahoe got a freekick which was hit by Darrick Dillon. In the 79th minute of the match Kaine Glen Crowe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trevor McCready showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beckett McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor McCready having to interfere. In the 86th minute Tate Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harley Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Shass FC got a freekick which was hit by Bragain Hunt. Harley Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bellaghy McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Beatty Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dromahoe fully deserved thier win.
