Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dolan McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradaigh Benson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Arnold Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20th play minutes Donlevy McBrand shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bhrighde Hamilton and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnold Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Lester in the 26th minute of play forced Milltown's goalkeeper Bhrighde Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnold Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bhrighde Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Arnold Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Donlevy McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Barcvni McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altans's Dennis Palmer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bhrighde Hamilton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bradaigh Benson made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Altans's Donlevy McBrand made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bhrighde Hamilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Altans's Donlevy McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Altans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phelan Lavine to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altans's goalkeeper Dolan McPaul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Barcvni McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Milltown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barcvni McJohnny couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Milltown booed when Altans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royan Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Coran Caffey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altans and the Milltown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Coran Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Arnold Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donlevy McBrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gordan Colwell hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arnold Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altans's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Lester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bhrighde Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Milltown players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Altans.
