Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Caherlea FC's Boyd Benson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Caherlea FC booed when Sheriffhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keelin McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Sheriffhill got a freekick which was hit by Blake Walker. Quirk Duggan took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Becc McCollion. Becc McCollion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Quirk Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Blake Walker made a precise shot to the right of Lou McJohnny. Caherlea FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bernard Tracy's late challenge caught a Caherlea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Tracy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Sheriffhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Tracy to maneuver through the defense. Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Benson in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Benson in the 22nd minute of play forced Sheriffhill's goalkeeper Becc McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lou McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boru Ramsey in the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Boru Ramsey took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Lou McJohnny to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boru Ramsey in the 34th minute of play forced Caherlea FC's goalkeeper Lou McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toran Branson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Becc McCollion. Sheriffhill's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Becc McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royan McStephen in the 39th minute of play. Becc McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Sheriffhill's goal looked a bit too open when Toran Branson came free, but Becc McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Caherlea FC got a freekick which was hit by Rowley Mulvihill. Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Walker in the 46th minute of play. Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirk Duggan in the 49th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boru Ramsey was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Caherlea FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Royan McStephen hit a great ball. Lou McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blake Walker in the 53rd minute of play. Keelin McTom hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sheriffhill's zone, Quirk Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Becc McCollion came out of the goal and Quirk Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lou McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boru Ramsey in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braydon McWilliam in the 76th minute of play forced Caherlea FC's goalkeeper Lou McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Boru Ramsey notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny. Lou McJohnny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sheriffhill walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
