Ballyshanock's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremiah McJon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harley Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beckett McFrank got free with Byrne McCready in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 11 minutes, Jeremiah McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyshanock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremiah McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Jeremiah McJon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Harley Lavine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Beatty Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Carrigan Caffey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyshanock and the Shass FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Ballyshanock got a freekick which was hit by Carrigan Caffey. After a defensive mix-up in Shass FC's zone, Jeremiah McJon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harley Lavine came out of the goal and Jeremiah McJon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Kevin Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harley Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tate McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Beckett McFrank dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Harley Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremiah McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Harley Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatty Holt in the 56th minute of play forced Ballyshanock's goalkeeper Byrne McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballyshanock's Tate McTom got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Ballyshanock getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Carrigan Caffey hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Brenda Doyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Byrne McCready skillfully saved the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Jeremiah McJon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Shass FC's Bragain Hunt got a free kick in the 81st minute. The long shot by Fergal Hunt in the 82nd minute really tested Harley Lavine's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Harley Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Dimson in the 84th minute of the match. Beatty Holt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ballyshanock played a much better game than Shass FC and deserved their victory. The Shass FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
