Aengus Byrne's late challenge caught a Glenulra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aengus Byrne helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin McBjarton in the 8th minute of play forced Milltown's goalkeeper Bhrighde Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Gordan Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Milltown's Bradaigh Benson in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenulra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gordan Colwell hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Glenulra FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bradaigh Benson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berke Frankson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bhrighde Hamilton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berke Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bhrighde Hamilton having to interfere. Barcvni McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Doney McTommy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milltown. After a rather tough play, Milltown's Dermot Myler got a free kick in the 38th minute. Brayden Doherty hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bhrighde Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cormac John in the 46th minute of play. Bhrighde Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cormac John, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bhrighde Hamilton made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cormac John sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Bradaigh Benson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bhrighde Hamilton came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Glenulra FC's Berke Frankson. But to his dismay, Berke Frankson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Milltown's Bradaigh Benson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenulra FC's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Glenulra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradaigh Benson came free, but Doney McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bricin McJohnny hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Glenulra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barcvni McJohnny came free, but Doney McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Doney McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradaigh Benson in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Glenulra FC got a freekick which was hit by Bricin McJohnny. Cormac John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
