Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Berke Frankson kicked off to start the match. Doney McTommy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Dimson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 8 minutes into the game, Ballyshanock's Kevin Dimson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doney McTommy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Glenulra FC defense, Kevin Dimson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doney McTommy. The Glenulra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doney McTommy should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Jeremiah McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyshanock's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremiah McJon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doney McTommy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenulra FC's Doney McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremiah McJon in the 28th minute of play. If Jeremiah McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Dimson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doney McTommy having to make a save. Doney McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremiah McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Glenulra FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballyshanock were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Dimson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jeremiah McJon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyshanock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Kevin Dimson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Ballyshanock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremiah McJon to maneuver through the defense. Byrne McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cormac John in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Ballyshanock booed when Glenulra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fergal Hunt's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Doney McTommy on his right side and into the goal. 84 minutes into the game it was 0-5. Ballyshanock's Jeremiah McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Dimson in the 90th minute of play forced Glenulra FC's goalkeeper Doney McTommy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Byrne McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Frankson in the 93rd minute of the match. Jeremiah McJon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Doney McTommy made a huge save.
