Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Killycross's Baptist Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bodibeua McVictor in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Furbogh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearnad McWill to maneuver through the defense. Furbogh's Bressal Murphy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Furbogh from getting a goal against them. Henry Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bressal Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baptist Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Holt in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Killycross booed when Furbogh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baodan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bret McTommy got free with Bressal Murphy in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Killycross's Henry Mullan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bressal Murphy . That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. If Brain Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brain Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Baptist Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Killycross's Bartley Lester got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bret McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killycross's supporters rose to their feet, but Bret McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bressal Murphy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Mullan made a kick off. After 57 played minutes, Killycross's Bray McCollion shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bressal Murphy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Killycross reached it. 63 minutes into the game, Killycross's Henry Mullan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bressal Murphy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bret McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bressal Murphy having to interfere. Henry Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bressal Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bret McTommy took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bressal Murphy . Bressal Murphy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Bret McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bret McTommy in the 86th minute of play forced Furbogh's goalkeeper Bressal Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bret McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94thth minute of the game Henry Mullan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furbogh's Bressal Murphy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bressal Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Mullan in the 96th minute of play. Killycross's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
