Bil McBrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyne McJohnny in the 35th minute of the match. Braddon Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bil McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Logan Duggan made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Braddon Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scott McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Braddon Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bellacorick Utd's protests and gave Braddon Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ballyhoura getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bebhinn O'Down hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Boyne McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellacorick Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyne McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Braddon Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bil McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herne Duggan in the 88th minute of play forced Bellacorick Utd's goalkeeper Artuir Cassin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bil McBrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyne McJohnny in the 90th minute of the match. Scott McJon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Artuir Cassin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
