The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geralt McCready during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barcvni McMichels short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Finnigan Robinson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Críostóir Ghee charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Críostóir Ghee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cathal Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Healey MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nutgrove AFC's Cathal Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Healey MaCollin in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennis Gallagher got free with Finnigan Robinson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Nutgrove AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Healey MaCollin came free, but Cathal Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nutgrove AFC's Cathal Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Healey MaCollin in the 36th minute of play. Cathal Ferguson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbeirt McBrand went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennis Gallagher was the one to do the kick off. Finnigan Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennis Gallagher in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Barrow's Gilbeirt McBrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cathal Ferguson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 56th match minute, Barrow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryleigh Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Brennon John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barrow booed when Nutgrove AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrow's Blar Dunne couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nutgrove AFC. When Barrow's Healey MaCollin in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nutgrove AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilbeirt McBrand took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cathal Ferguson. Cathal Ferguson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 75 minutes of play Barrow's Ryleigh Sheridan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ryleigh Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Finnigan Robinson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ennis Gallagher went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Aaron Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Gilbeirt McBrand made a precise shot to the right of Cathal Ferguson. Nutgrove AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Gilbeirt McBrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cathal Ferguson made a huge save.
