Bansha's Donan McTommy got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brendan Caffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beachain McJames in the 12th minute of the match. Aghacurreen Utd's Brendan Caffey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Aghacurreen Utd from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Bansha got a freekick which was hit by Donan McTommy. Brendan Caffey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donan McTommy in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Harold McMichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beatty Brennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donan McTommy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brendan Caffey firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Beckett Taylor fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aghacurreen Utd's protests and gave Beckett Taylor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aghacurreen Utd's Beckett Taylor got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beachain McJames was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Aghacurreen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beachain McJames came free, but Brendan Caffey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beachain McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donan McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Caffey having to interfere. Beachain McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beachain McJames's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendan Caffey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Brendan Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beachain McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beachain McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Caffey having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aghacurreen Utd's zone, Beachain McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Caffey came out of the goal and Beachain McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Beachain McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bansha's Donan McTommy got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beckett Taylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
