Lavally's Boland Grant got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boland Grant in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bil McBrand saved Ballyhoura from getting behind. If Boland Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donagh Walker had several of the Ballyhoura's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Bil McBrand as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Ballyhoura getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Herne Duggan hit a great ball. Blathma Robinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bil McBrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blathma Robinson ran back to his position shaking his head. Donagh Walker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bil McBrand made a huge save. If Boland Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bil McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boland Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Aban McFrancise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braeden McFrank, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 56 minutes of play, Lavally's Donagh Walker made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bil McBrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ballyhoura getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bebhinn O'Down hit a great ball. When Donagh Walker came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Lavally fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donagh Walker couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Lavally's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Duggan came free, but Aban McFrancise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Boland Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Mullan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Boland Grant took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bil McBrand. Bil McBrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 88 minutes into the match, Ballyhoura's goal looked a bit too open when Donagh Walker came free, but Bil McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Donagh Walker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lavally fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
