Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dawayne Crowe took the kick off in the first half of the match. Toren Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivitas McJohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toren Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bivitas McJohn in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Bivitas McJohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toren Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaire Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brennen McVictor having to interfere. Bealaclugga's Dawayne Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Blaire Hutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bealaclugga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Brennen McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawayne Crowe in the 24th minute of play. Blaire Hutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dawayne Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Brennen McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarlath McGlenn got free with Toren Gallagher in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 minutes, Lewis John mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bealaclugga and the Gortnagane FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lewis John hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jarlath McGlenn succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The Gortnagane FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bealaclugga were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Bivitas McJohn made the kick off in the second half. Toren Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivitas McJohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toren Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarlath McGlenn in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Gortnagane FC's Jarlath McGlenn made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toren Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Jarlath McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toren Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toren Gallagher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bivitas McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 70 minutes into the match, Bivitas McJohn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toren Gallagher. Bealaclugga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bivitas McJohn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Blaire Hutton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Brennen McVictor made a huge save. Jarlath McGlenn might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toren Gallagher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarlath McGlenn ran back to his position shaking his head. Dawayne Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Brennen McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bealaclugga getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lewis John hit a great ball. Gortnagane FC's Jarlath McGlenn got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bec Hunt during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Bealaclugga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bec Hunt to maneuver through the defense. Toren Gallagher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarlath McGlenn's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Many of Bealaclugga's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bealaclugga may have spent more time on the ball, but Gortnagane FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
