Coileán Jameson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paudraig Moran in the 12th minute. Coileán Jameson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brigid Cassin in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Meenawogary booed when Anablaha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bowen Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torrans McFrancise was slow to take the kick. During this time Meenawogary's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Torrans McFrancise got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Coileán Jameson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Anablaha's zone, Paudraig Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coileán Jameson came out of the goal and Paudraig Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paudraig Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coileán Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brigid Cassin in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brigid Cassin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beehan Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coileán Jameson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paudraig Moran in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Beehan Ferguson rounded Meenawogary's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Coileán Jameson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paudraig Moran's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Anablaha's Coileán Jameson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brigid Cassin in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Brigid Cassin made a precise shot to the right of Coileán Jameson. Anablaha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Paudraig Moran might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coileán Jameson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paudraig Moran ran back to his position shaking his head. When Seosamh Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Meenawogary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seosamh Rogers couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Anablaha's Rownun O'Down got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Paudraig Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Coileán Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paudraig Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brigid Cassin in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Coileán Jameson saved Anablaha from getting behind. Paudraig Moran took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coileán Jameson. Coileán Jameson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. A collision led to Meenawogary getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Glen Kelly hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Beehan Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anablaha's supporters rose to their feet, but Beehan Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brenda McStephen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Brigid Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coileán Jameson was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Meenawogary had played much better football throughout.
