Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Hermitage FC's Donn Robinson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Daniel Keegan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davie Frankson. Hermitage FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Keegan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Hermitage FC's Donagh Benson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peadar McVictor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Blanaid O'Down got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peadar McVictor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Donn Robinson had several of the Lissanisky's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Peadar McVictor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Davie Frankson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Lissanisky's Daniel Keegan. But to his dismay, Daniel Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 22nd minute Donn Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peadar McVictor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Keegan took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davie Frankson. Davie Frankson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 27 minutes into the match, Hermitage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raonall Callaghan came free, but Davie Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donn Robinson in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peadar McVictor saved Lissanisky from getting behind. Davie Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Keegan in the 33rd minute of play. Donn Robinson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Lissanisky's Trien Dunne got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Hermitage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raonall Callaghan came free, but Davie Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raonall Callaghan to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Daniel Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lissanisky's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Keegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davie Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lissanisky getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tierney Gallagher hit a great ball. Donn Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Peadar McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raonall Callaghan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davie Frankson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Lissanisky's goal looked a bit too open when Donn Robinson came free, but Peadar McVictor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Hermitage FC got a freekick which was hit by Denny Moran. The nice shot from Daniel Keegan in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Davie Frankson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Trien Dunne hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Abbot Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peadar McVictor having to interfere. Trien Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Abbot Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Peadar McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abbot Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raonall Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lissanisky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raonall Callaghan couldn't finish the play. Abbot Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bowie McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Donn Robinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Peadar McVictor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lissanisky had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
