Donagh Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Colmcille McStephen put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Davie Frankson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colmcille McStephen in the 38th minute of play forced Hermitage FC's goalkeeper Davie Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colmcille McStephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davie Frankson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colmcille McStephen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56thth minute of the game Colmcille McStephen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Toombeola had played much better football throughout.
