Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Aban Duggan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Bunaw Utd's goal looked a bit too open when John Gollogley came free, but Breslin Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Brenna Dimson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunaw Utd and the Kilcusnaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Kilcusnaun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bivadi Cassin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kilcusnaun's zone, Comhghall Perth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nollaig McBrandon came out of the goal and Comhghall Perth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kilcusnaun's Nollaig McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comhghall Perth in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, John Gollogley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilcusnaun and the Bunaw Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. John Gollogley hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bunaw Utd's goalkeeper Breslin Kelly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Nollaig McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comhghall Perth in the 51st minute of play. A hard shot 53 in the game by Aban Duggan from a close distance when the talented Breslin Kelly managed to make a qualified save. Bunaw Utd's players were relieved. In the 58th minute John Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breslin Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Babe Murphy put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute, one of Bunaw Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bunaw Utd. Roland Mulvihill walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice moves Aban Duggan could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Breslin Kelly however easily saved by the left post. Breslin Kelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Gollogley 's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Nollaig McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Brenna Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dennis McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If John Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Dennis McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nollaig McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nollaig McBrandon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Blathma Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunaw Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Blathma Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nollaig McBrandon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breslin Kelly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aban Duggan in the 96th minute. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bunaw Utd! Roland Mulvihill shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bunaw Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
