Davie Frankson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bow Johnson's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bow Johnson in the 25th minute of play. Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hermitage FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Donn Robinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harrigan McAlphie was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The wind increased when Donn Robinson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Derrick McFrank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn Robinson in the 56th minute of play forced Ballinalack's goalkeeper Harrigan McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bow Johnson scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davie Frankson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bow Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
