Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Meenawogary's Brigid Cassin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barram McNamee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brigid Cassin in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barley McOliver saved Cappavicar from getting behind. In the 12th minute Herne Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brenda McStephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Meenawogary got a freekick which was hit by Torrans McFrancise. Torrans McFrancise hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Brigid Cassin might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barley McOliver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brigid Cassin ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Meenawogary's Brigid Cassin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barley McOliver. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. After 36 played minutes, Cappavicar's Cianán Walker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brenda McStephen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cappavicar reached it. Paudraig Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley McOliver having to interfere. If Barram McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Meenawogary's Torrans McFrancise got a free kick in the 45th minute.

53 minutes into the game, Meenawogary's Brigid Cassin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barley McOliver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brigid Cassin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barley McOliver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Cappavicar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Barram McNamee hit a great ball. Cappavicar's Barley McOliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brigid Cassin in the 67th minute of play. Barley McOliver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paudraig Moran in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Berkeley Quinnless shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barley McOliver showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paudraig Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley McOliver having to interfere. Cappavicar's Barley McOliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brigid Cassin in the 83rd minute of play. If Brigid Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brigid Cassin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barley McOliver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Brigid Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
