Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) Brigid Cassin made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Brigid Cassin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Davie Frankson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Cassin's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Brigid Cassin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brigid Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brigid Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paudraig Moran in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davie Frankson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Hermitage FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Donn Robinson hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Meenawogary got a freekick which was hit by Donal McJon. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Abbot Crowe put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Brenda McStephen. Abbot Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brenda McStephen having to interfere. Donal McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Meenawogary's Brenda McStephen got control of the ball when Donn Robinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Brigid Cassin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davie Frankson. Hermitage FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brigid Cassin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donn Robinson to make the kick off. Brigid Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meenawogary's Paudraig Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hermitage FC's zone, Brigid Cassin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davie Frankson came out of the goal and Brigid Cassin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Paudraig Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meenawogary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paudraig Moran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hermitage FC's Davie Frankson got control of the ball when Paudraig Moran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davie Frankson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brigid Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Meenawogary's Brigid Cassin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hermitage FC's goalie prevented a goal. Brenda McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbot Crowe in the 74th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Brigid Cassin arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 78th minute. After 81 played minutes Hermitage FC got a freekick which was hit by Denny Moran. Davie Frankson stood somewhat misplaced when Brigid Cassin came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. In the 86th minute, Abbot Crowe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermitage FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A long shot from Berrach Dimson in the 91st minute of play was well struck, but Davie Frankson made a really good save at the right post. Davie Frankson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Cassin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Paudraig Moran made a precise shot to the right of Davie Frankson. Hermitage FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Meenawogary played a much better game than Hermitage FC and deserved their victory. The Hermitage FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
