Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bunaw Utd's Dennis McPhilip started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dennis McPhilip came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Bunaw Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis McPhilip couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bunaw Utd booed when Meenawogary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrans McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Donal McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Bunaw Utd's Perry Myler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brenda McStephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bunaw Utd's Brigid McJames got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of Meenawogary booed when Bunaw Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenna Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Brigid Cassin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bunaw Utd's Breslin Kelly tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Breslin Kelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Cassin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Paudraig Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Breslin Kelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brigid Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Paudraig Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breslin Kelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Cassin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Meenawogary's Seosamh Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paudraig Moran in the 43rd minute of play forced Bunaw Utd's goalkeeper Breslin Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Meenawogary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brigid Cassin to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Brigid Cassin made the kick off in the second half. Rowley Gillmour hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Brigid Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breslin Kelly was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Brigid Cassin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paudraig Moran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Breslin Kelly made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Philip Branson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brenda McStephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Seosamh Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Breslin Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Torrans McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meenawogary's Paudraig Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perry Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paudraig Moran struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Breslin Kelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meenawogary. Paudraig Moran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Breslin Kelly made a huge save. Brigid McJames's late challenge caught a Meenawogary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brigid McJames helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Brigid McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paudraig Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Breslin Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Paudraig Moran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Breslin Kelly was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bunaw Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while Meenawogary had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
