Lissanisky's Donegan Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Colmcille McStephen sped through Lissanisky's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peadar McVictor. Blanche McPaul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raonall Callaghan in the 12th minute of the match. Colmcille McStephen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. 22 minutes into the game, Brenainn Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lissanisky's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toombeola the free kick. The supporters of Toombeola booed when Lissanisky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenainn Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colmcille McStephen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Peadar McVictor 27 minutes into the match. Colmcille McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peadar McVictor having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Toombeola's Bec Savic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peadar McVictor. Peadar McVictor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Colmcille McStephen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peadar McVictor having to make a save. If Colmcille McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Toombeola's Bec Savic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peadar McVictor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colmcille McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peadar McVictor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colmcille McStephen went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colmcille McStephen to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Biviti McPhilip put in a rough tackle. Toombeola's Braon McAlphie got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cianán McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Peadar McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cianán McPhilip came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Toombeola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cianán McPhilip couldn't finish the play. Bannan McMichel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Toombeola's Blathmac McPhilip got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Cianán McPhilip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Braon McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toombeola's Bec Savic got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Blathmac McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toombeola's protests and gave Blathmac McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead.
